Play the Challenge.

At Ply we’re all about playing the challenge. This simply means setting ourselves up against a challenge and seeing if we can meet it.

So instead of focusing on whether we are ‘successful’ at something, whether we win or lose, whether we dominate or concede, whether we look good against others or not, we just play the challenge. This can help shift one's mindset and approach toward exercise and other tasks to a more positive setting. Sometimes you will meet the challenge and other times you won’t. Overcoming every challenge means you’re setting the bar too low. A challenge that gives the right balance is one that stretches your abilities, your perceived coping strategies yet on a good day, or with practice, is attainable. The process, if there is one, is to accept the challenge, test yourself against it and grow with it. Judgement, one way or the other, on the outcome doesn’t concern us so much. We’re more inclined to applaud the effort, the time and the commitment to see something through.

That's why we’ve created our celebration cards. Celebrating the completion of a workout, which in and of itself is a worthy pursuit, resonates with us. You can share these cards with your social community or just keep the head down and collect them all.
